 Where to go in June

Many countries have a pleasant climate (mild temperatures, low rainfall or dry weather) in June. Some countries are to be avoided due to unfavorable weather conditions (high or low temperatures, heavy rainfall or cyclones which often cause heavy damage).

  Africa
Rainfall is very rare and temperatures are mild (20 to 25°) in most South African countries (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique) and on the islands located in the east of Africa (Madagascar, Mauritius, Reunion, Mayotte) in June. Rainfall is high in the countries located near the Equator (Central Africa). Temperatures are high and rainfall is nonexistent in the countries of Northern Africa (Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt). The islands (Madeira, Canary Islands) have a milder climate. The rains are abundant in the West African countries (they are higher on the coasts than far away from the sea).

Temperatures range in North America from 20 ° in Canada to 30 ° in Mexico and in the south of the United States (rainfall is high in the south of North America). Temperatures reach 30° and rainfall is high in the countries located near the Equator (Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana). Temperatures are milder in Brazil, in the north of Chile and in Argentina. They are much lower (0°) in the south of the continent. The rains are abundant and temperatures are high (30°) on most Caribbean islands.
