Many countries have a pleasant climate (mild temperatures, low rainfall or dry weather) in June. Some countries are to be avoided due to unfavorable weather conditions (high or low temperatures, heavy rainfall or cyclones which often cause heavy damage).

Rainfall is very rare and temperatures are mild (20 to 25°) in most South African countries (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique) and on the islands located in the east of Africa (Madagascar, Mauritius, Reunion, Mayotte) in June. Rainfall is high in the countries located near the Equator (Central Africa). Temperatures are high and rainfall is nonexistent in the countries of Northern Africa (Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt). The islands (Madeira, Canary Islands) have a milder climate. The rains are abundant in the West African countries (they are higher on the coasts than far away from the sea).

The rains are very low or nonexisten in several countries of Central Asia (temperatures often reach 30° in all countries). The climate is hot and dry in Turkey, on the Arabian Peninsula (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen, United Arab Emirates), in Iran and in Iraq (temperatures exceed 30° and rainfall is nonexistent). Sunshine is very high. Humidity is also very high on the coasts of the Middle East countries.

Temperatures are cool in the countries of Northern Europe in June (they range from 15 to 18°). The climate is milder in Eastern Europe (temperatures exceed 20° and rainfall is moderate). The climate of the islands located north of the Equator is hot and humid with abundant rainfall (heavy rains are very frequent) and stable temperatures (30°). The islands located south of the Equator have a milder and relatively dry climate (temperatures range between 26 and 30°). Southern Australia and New Zealand have a cool climate in June. The climate is milder in northern Australia.
