Climate

 
The Balearic Islands have a Mediterranean climate with four seasons.

Temperatures range between 14° in January to 28° in July. Rainfall is higher in the mountains (1 200 mm per year) than on the coasts (500 mm per year).

Winter (December to February)
Temperatures are stable (15° during the daytime, 8° at night) and rainfall is low.

Spring (March to May)
Temperatures rise slowly (16° in March, 22° in May) and rainfall is low.

Summer (June to August)
Temperatures are high (25 to 29° during the daytime, they lose nine degrees at night) and rainfall is very low.

Autumn (September to November)
Temperatures steadily drop (26° in September, 23° in October, 18° in November) and rainfall is moderate.
