The British Virgin Islands have a tropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season.
Temperatures are stable throughout the year (30°). The rains are high (1 200 mm per year) but they vary greatly from one year to another. Hurricanes sometimes reach the coasts of the archipelago in August, September and October.
