 Southern Central African Republic
The south has a climate with a rainy season and a dry season. Rainfall reaches 1 800 mm per year.
Rainy season (March to October)
Temperatures are high (30°) and humidity sometimes reaches 100%. The rains are very high (they cause sometimes floods).
Dry season (November to February)
Temperatures are high (28°) and rains are sporadic.
The central plateau
The plateau located in the center of the Central African Republic has a climate with a rainy season and a dry season. Rainfall reaches 1 500 mm.
Rainy season (June to November)
Temperatures are high (30°) and rainfall is often intense (several centimeters in an hour).
Dry season (December to May)
Temperatures are very high during the daytime (34°) but they are cool at night (they sometimes drop to 10°).
Northern Central African Republic
The north has a climate with a rainy season and a dry season.
Rainy season (May to September)
Rainfall is moderate (750 to 900 mm).
Dry season (October to April)
A hot and dusty wind dries the atmosphere and causes a sharp increase in temperature (40°).
