Climate

 
French Guiana has an equatorial climate with two rainy seasons and two dry seasons.

Temperatures are constant throughout the year (30° during the daytime, 23° at night). Annual rainfall is abundant (1 700 mm in the northwest, 3,800 mm in the northeast and 2 500 mm on the plateau). Sunshine is high (2 200 hours per year).

First rainy season (November to January) and second rainy season (April to July)
Temperatures are stable (30°). The rains are brief and moderate in November, December and January. They are much more frequent and abundant in April, May, June and July. Humidity is high during the day (75 to 80%) and very high at night (100%).

First dry season (February to March) and second dry season (August to October)
Temperatures are constant (30°) and rainfall is moderate (showers in the afternoon from time to time). Humidity is low during the daytime (50%) and very high at night (100%).
