Oman has two different climatic zones.
Temperatures are stable throughout the year in the south (28 to 32°) and range from 25° in January to 40° (50° sometimes) in July in the center and in the north (they are milder in the montains). The rains are higher in the mountains and in the hills located in the north and in the south (700 mm per year) than in the central plain and on the coasts (100 mm per year). Humidity is high on the coasts all year round.
 Central and northern Oman
Tne center and the north have an arid climate with a hot season and a mild season.
Hot season (April to October)
Temperatures reach 40° on the coast and 50° away from the sea. Rainfall is nonexistent. Humidity is very high on the coasts and low elsewhere.
Mild season (November to March)
Temperatures drop until January (25°) and rise until March. Rainfall is very low (10 to 25 mm per month).
Southern Oman
The south has a subtropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season.
Rainy season (June to August)
Temperatures are stable (28 to 32°) and rainfall is low.
Dry season (September to May)
Temperatures are constant (28 to 32°) and rainfall is very low or nonexistent.
