Turkmenistan has a continental climate with four seasons.
Temperatures range between 8° in January and 35-40° in July. Rainfall is low (100 to 300 mm per year) and the winds blow constantly.
Winter (December to February)
Temperatures reach 10° (they are close to zero degree in the north) and rainfall is low.
Spring (March to April)
Temperatures are mild and rainfall is low.
Summer (May to September)
Temperatures range between 30 and 40° (they reach 50° in the extreme south). Rainfall is nonexistent and humidity is low.
Autumn (October to November)
Temperatures are mild and rainfall is very low.
