Yemen has an arid climate with a warm season and a mild season.
Temperatures range from 27° in January and 35° in July (they are milder in the high plateaus located in the west). Rainfall reaches 100 mm per year (400 to 700 mm per year on the plateaus). Humidity is high throughout the year on the coasts and low in the rest of the country.
Hot season (April to October)
Temperatures reach 28° on the high plateaus and oscillate between 30 and 35° elsewhere. Rainfall is very low or nonexistent. Humidity is very high on the coasts.
Mild season (November to March)
Temperatures drop to 27° in January (21° in the high plateaus) and strongly rise until March. Rainfall is very low.
