The Cook Islands have a tropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season.
Temperatures range between 29° in February and 24° in July. Rainfall is abundant (2 000 mm per year).
Rainy season (November to April)
Temperatures reach 28 to 29° (they lose five degrees at night) and rainfall is abundant (the rains often fall in the late afternoon or in the evening). Sunshine is high. Cyclones sometimes pass through the islands.
Dry season (May to October)
Temperatures are stable (25 to 26°) and rainfall is moderate.
