Temperatures range between 27 and 35° during the year. The rains are higher in the south (1 200 2 000 mm oer year) than in the north (1 200 mm per year). Humidity is higher in the south than in the north.
The south has an equatorial climate with two dry seasons and two rainy seasons. Humidity is very high (more than 80% throughout the year) and rainfall ranges from 1 200 to 2 000 mm per year.
First dry season (November to March)
Temperatures reach 30-31° (the hottest months are February and March) and rainfall is low.
Second dry season (August)
Temperatures reach 26°.
First rainy season (April to July) and second rainy season (September to October)
Temperatures are constant (25-27° C) and rainfall is high. The rains are higher in the southwest than in the southeast.
The north has a tropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season. Humidity is high except when a dry wind blows over the north during the dry season.
Dry season (November to March)
A dry and dusty wind warms the atmosphere in December to February and March. Temperatures rise to 35° during the daytime but the nights are often cool. Humidity sometimes drops to 25%.
Rainy season (April to October)
Temperatures are stable (27°) and rainfall is relatively high (1 200 mm).
