The island of Grenada has a tropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season.
Temperatures oscillate between 31° during the daytime and 22 to 24° at night throughout the year (they are lower in the mountains located in the center of the island). Rainfall is much higher in the mountains (4 000 mm per year) than on the coasts (1 500 to 2 000 mm per year). Hurricanes sometimes pass through the island in June to August, September to November.
