The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Islands have a tropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season.
Temperatures oscillate between 30° during the daytime and 22° at night throughout the year (they are cooler in the mountains). Rainfall is higher in the mountains (4 000 mm per year) than on the coasts (1 500 and 2 000 mm per year) of the island of Saint Vincent. The rains are lower on the islands of the Grenadines. Hurricanes sometimes pass through the islands in August, September and October.
