Climate

 
Sardinia has a Mediterranean climate with four seasons.

Temperatures range between 14° in January to 30° in July (they are lower in the central mountains). Rainfall is higher in the mountains (1 000 mm per year) than on the coasts (500 to 600 mm per year). Sunshine is very high (three hundred days per year)

Winter (December to February)
Temperatures are stable (15° during the daytime, 6° at night) and rainfall is moderate.

Spring (March to May)
Temperatures rise slowly (16° in March, 18° in April, 22° in May) and rainfall is moderate.

Summer (June to August)
Temperatures are high (30°) and rainfall is very low or nonexistent.

Autumn (September to November)
Temperatures prgressively drop (26° in September, 22° in October, 18° in November) and rainfall is moderate.
