Climate

 
Swaziland has a subtropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season.

Temperatures are very high during several months in the central plain (they are milder on the plateaus and in the mountains). Annual rains reach 2000 mm in the western mountains, 800 mm on the narrow plateau located in the east and 700 mm in the plain.

Rainy season (November to March)
Temperatures exceed 40° in the plain located in the center. They are lower in the mountains and on the plateau (25°). The rains are higher in the mountains than in the plain (they are often torrential especially in the mountains).

Dry season (April to October)
Temperatures are mild (they can be quite low at night especially in the central plain) and rainfall is low.
