The islanfs of Wallis and Futuna have a tropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season.
Temperatures reach 30° all year on both islands. Rainfall is higher on the island of Futuna (4 000 mm per year) than on the island of Wallis (3 000 mm per year). Sunshine is moderate (six to eight hours per day) and humidity is stable throughout the year (80 to 85%).
