Northwestern Angola
The coastal plain located in the northwest of Angola has a climate with a dry season and rainy season.
Rainy season (November to April)
Temperatures reach 30° and rainfall is very high (almost one meter per year).
Dry season (May to October)
Temperatures are mild (26°) and rainfall is nonexistent.
The central plateau
The central plateau has a climate with a dry season and rainy season.
Rainy season (December to March)
Temperatures are high (30°) and rainfall is very high (one meter per year).
Dry season (April to November)
Temperatures reach 26° and rainfall is low or nonexistent (July and August). The climate is more temperate above 1 500 meters.
The southwestern coast of Angola
Temperatures range between 20 and 30° during the year and rainfall is low (50 to 250 mm per year).
