Climate

 
The Bahamas has a tropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season.

Temperatures oscillate between 23° in January and 32° in July. Rainfall reaches 1 100 mm per year and sunshine is very high (320 days per year). Sea temperature range between 22° in January and 28° in July. Hurricanes sometimes reach

Rainy season (May to October)
Temperatures reach 30-32° during the daytime (they lose five to seven degrees at night). Showers (often short and intense) usually fall in the late afternoon or at night. It rains more on the northern islands than on the southern islands. Humidity is very high (80 to 90%) and sunshine is also very high (nine hours per day).

Dry season (November to April)
Temperatures range between 23 and 27° (they lose five to seven degrees at night). Rainfall is low. The sun shines seven hours a day.
