Climate

 
Barbados has a tropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season.

Temperatures are stable throughout the year (27 to 30°). Rainfall is high (1 900 mm per year on the hill located in the center of the island and 1 300 mm per year on the coast). Sunshine is very high all year round (3 000 hours per year). Humidity between 70 and 75%. Cyclones (frequent in the Caribbean Sea in June, July, September, October and November) rarely reach the island.

Rainy season (June to December)
Temperatures range between 27 and 30° during the daytime (they lose four to five degrees at night). Rainfall is often brief and violent. It usually rains fifteen days per month (rains mainly fall in the late afternoon). Sunshine is high (eight to nine hours a day).

Dry season (January to May)
Temperatures oscillate between 27 and 30° during the daytime (they usually lose four to five degrees at night). Rainfall is low (brief showers fall about eight days per month). Sunshine reaches eight to nine hours a day.
