The Cayman Islands have a tropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season.
Temperatures oscillate between 26° in January and 30° in July. Rainfall is high (1300 mm per year). Cyclones sometimes reach the coasts of the islands in June to August, September, October and November.
Rainy season (May to November)
Temperatures are stable (30°) and humidity is high. Showers (often brief and intense) usually fall in the afternoon.
Dry season (December to April)
Temperatures are mild (26 to 28°) and rainfall is low.
