Climate

 
Denmark has a maritime climate with four seasons.

Temperatures range between 2° in January and 20° in July. Rainfall is higher in the west (1 000 mm per year) than in the east (500 to 600 mm per year).

Winter (December to February)
Temperatures are constant (2 to 4°) and rainfall is low. Snow covers the ground during thirty days. The sun shines only one to two hours a day because th sky is cloudy mos of the time.

Spring (March to May)
Temperatures rise slowly (5° in March, 10° in April, 15° in May), rainfall is low and winds blow regularly.

Summer (June to August)
Temperatures are stable (20° during the daytime, 13° at night) and rainfall is moderate. The sun shines eight hours a day.

Autumn (September to November)
The temperatures drop progressively (16° in September, 11° in October, 7° in November) and rainfall is moderate.
