Climate

 
The island of Guadeloupe has a tropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season.

Temperatures oscillate between 28 to 31° during the daytime and 20 to 24° at night throughout the year (they are lower in the mountains located in the west of the island). Annual rainfall is higher in the west (1 500 mm on the coast, 2,500 mm in the mountains) than in the east (1 000 mm). Cyclones sometimes reach the coasts of the island in July, August, September and October.

Rainy season (May to December)
Temperatures reach 30-31° and rain generally fall in the afternoon. Humidity is very high.

Dry season (January to April)
Temperatures are stable (28°) and rainfall is moderate. Sunshine is high.
