Kuwait has an arid climate with a warm season and a mild season.
Temperatures range from 18° in January to 44° (sometimes more) in August. Rainfall varies from 25 to 150 mm per year (the rains are very irregular from one year to another).
Hot season (May to October)
Temperatures are very high (40 to 44°). Sand-land winds cause a sharp rise in temperatures (they sometimes reach 50°) when they blow in June and July. Rainfall is nonexistent but the atmosphere is very humid in August, September and October.
Mild season (November to April)
Temperatures drop progressively (25° in November, 20° in December) until January (18°) and then rise steadily (30° in April). The nights are cold in December, January and February (temperatures sometimes drop to 3°). Rainfall is low.
