Climate

 
Malawi has a subtropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season.



Rainy season (November to April)
Temperatures are high (30° in the valley, 25° on the plateaus). Rains range from 700 mm in the valley to 2 500 mm on the plateaus.

Dry season (May to October)
Rainfall is very rare and temperatures range from 20° on the plateaus to 25° in the valley. Frosts can occur in June and July in certain regions.
