Climate

 
The Maldives has an equatorial climate with two rainy seasons and two dry seasons.

Temperatures range between 30° during the daytime and 25° at night throughout the year. Rainfall reaches 2 000 to 3 000 mm per year. Sunshine is very high (more than 2 000 hours per year).

First rainy season (April to June) and second rainy season (September to January)
Temperatures are constant (30° during the daytime, 25° at night) and rainfall is abundant.

First dry season (July to August) and second dry season (February to March)
Temperatures are stable (30° during the daytime, 25° at night). Rainfall is low in February and March and moderate in July and August.
