Malta has a Mediterranean climate with four seasons.
Temperatures range between 15° in January to 30° in July. Rainfall reaches 600 mm per year.
Winter (December to March)
Temperatures are stable (15° during the day, 9° at night) and rainfall is high. The sunshine varies from five to six hours a day.
Spring (April to May)
Temperatures reach 20° (they sharply rise for a few days when a hot wind pass through the island) and rainfall is very low.
Summer (June to September)
Temperatures range between 25 and 29° (they sometimes reach 35°) and rainfall is very low or nonexistent. The sun shines twelve hours a day. Humidity is very high in August and September.
Autumn (October to November)
Temperatures reach 21° and rainfall is high.
