Climate

 
The Isle of Man has a maritime climate with four seasons.

Temperatures vary between 7° in January and 18° in July. Rainfall is higher in the central mountains (1 800 mm per year) than on the coast (900 mm per year). Sunshine reaches 1 500 hours per year on the seaside and 1,300 hours a year in the mountains.

Winter (December to February)
Temperatures are low (7°) and rainfall is high.

Spring (March to May)
Temperatures rise slowly (8° in March, 10° in April, 13° in May) and rainfall is low.

Summer (June to August)
Temperatures are constant (18°) and rainfall Is moderate.

Autumn (September to November)
Temperatures drop steadily (16° in September, 13° in October, 10° in November) and rainfall is high.
