Micronesia has a tropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season.
Temperatures are stable throughout the year (28 to 30°). Rainfall reaches 3 000 mm per year (the rains are heavier on the islands located near the equator). Sunshine is moderate (six to eight hours a day) and humidity is high all year round.
Rainy season (May to December)
Temperatures reach 30° (they lose six degrees at night) and rainfall (short showers) Is abundant. Cyclones (heavy rains, strong winds) sometimes pass through the islands between July and November.
Dry season (January to April)
Temperatures are stable (28°) and rainfall is high.
