The Turks and Caicos Islands have a tropical climate with a rainy season and a dry season.
Temperatures oscillate between 26° in January and 32° in August. Rainfall is higher on the west coasts (1 000 mm per year) than on the east coasts of the islands. The sun shines 350 days a year. Cyclones sometimes pass through the islands in June to August, September to November.
