Climate

 
Wales has a maritime climate with four seasons.

Temperatures range between 7° in January and 20° in July. Rainfall is higher in the mountains (3 000 mm per year) than on the coast (900 mm per year).

Winter (December to February)
Temperatures are stable (7°) and rainfall is high.

Spring (March to May)
Temperatures rise slowly (9° in March, 11° in April, 14° in May) and rainfall is moderate.

Summer (June to August)
Temperatures are constant (17 to 20°) and rainfall is moderate.

Autumn (September to November)
Temperatures steadily drop (16° in September, 13° in October, 10° in November) and rainfall is high.
